AutoFix Spain
Terms of Service
Effective date:
Quick summary
These Terms govern service bookings, diagnostics, parts, and liability limitations.
Acceptance
By requesting, booking, or receiving services from AutoFix Spain (including diagnostics, mechanical repairs, electrical work, maintenance, or parts supply), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service. If you are acting on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that entity.
If you do not agree with these Terms, do not book or authorize any work.
Estimates and payment
Estimates may include parts, labor, diagnostic fees, and taxes where applicable. Estimates are based on initial information and inspection; additional faults may be discovered during diagnostics or disassembly.
We will seek your approval before performing additional chargeable work not included in the original estimate, unless immediate action is necessary for safety or to prevent further damage.
- Payment due: final payment is due upon completion and before vehicle release unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Deposits: certain parts orders or extensive repairs may require an upfront deposit.
- Late collection: storage fees may apply if the vehicle is not collected within a reasonable period after notice of completion.
Warranty
We provide a 12-month labor warranty on workmanship for covered services, starting from the completion date. Parts are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty unless otherwise specified.
To make a warranty claim, contact us promptly and provide relevant documentation (invoice, vehicle details, and symptoms). We may require inspection before authorizing further work.
Liability
We are not liable for pre-existing faults, wear-related failures, or intermittent issues disclosed during diagnostics. Some defects may only become apparent after repairs or as a result of normal component aging.
- We are not responsible for loss of personal items left in the vehicle; please remove valuables prior to service.
- We are not liable for delays caused by parts availability, supplier issues, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.
- To the extent permitted by law, indirect or consequential damages (loss of profit, loss of use) are excluded.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited under applicable law.
Data protection
We process personal data (such as name, contact details, vehicle details, and service history) for the purpose of providing services, communicating with you, issuing invoices, and meeting legal obligations.
We handle personal data in line with GDPR principles and our Privacy practices. You may request access, correction, or deletion where applicable.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by Spanish law. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or our services will be submitted to the competent courts in Spain, unless mandatory consumer laws provide otherwise.
